Following the series of environmental protection and contribution activities to society that AccorHotels committed to implement, on 21st April, at CWD 20 Thuy Khue, Tay Ho, Hanoi, staffs and managers of seven hotels belonging to AccorHotels, including Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, Pullman Hanoi, Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi, Novotel Halong Bay, Ciputra Club and Mercure Hanoi La Gare gathered to participate in refining infrastructure, installing some new equipments and create playing space for kids of Shelter, and installing photo frames themed “Aspirations” for the project named Peace House Shelter inorder to give  woman, children and adult victims of human trafficking a better living environment.

Peace House Shelter was developed by CWD in collaboration with The  Spanish Agency for International development (AECID) to provide a comprehensive package of support for trafficked women and children back to Vietnam. After 7 years in operation, Peace House Shelter by far supported nearly 300 women and kids of 15 ethnic groups from 43 provinces accross the country. Every life is a story, but they are all victims of human tracfficking.

By this activity, all members of Accor expect to share and help women and children in special condition here to get a better living condition, a brighter future and to fight against human trafficking in Vietnam and the world.

This activity belongs to series of PLANET 21 Day program of AccorHotels Group. Planet 21 is Social responsibilities of Accor Group launched in 2012. After 5 years of operation, at the beginning of 2016, this program steps in a new period with strategic vision from 2016 to 2020. The program Planet 21 is reformed with 4 main core strategies and 2 piorities. 4 Main core strategies include calls for action in response to environmental protection from staffs, customers, partner and local Communities. 2 Priorities focus on reducing redundant food and increasing good food for health (through F&B service) and carbon neutral building.
